The WUSB200 Wireless-G USB Network
Adapter from Linksys® lets you get your desktop or notebook connected
to the network almost anywhere in the building without the cost and hassle of
running network cables. The device helps you keep in touch with your friends via
e-mail. You can also access the Internet, use instant messaging to chat with
colleagues, and share files and other resources such as printers and network
storage with other computers on the network.
The incorporated RangeBooster
technology enhances your wireless network's range and throughput. WUSB200 also
reduces ¿dead spots¿ with the help of two smart receivers at each end that
detect and decode reflected signals. In addition, the adapter includes advanced
security features which use Wi-Fi Protected Access¿ (WPA2 Enterprise)
with up to 256-bit encryption, and Wireless Security Monitoring functionality
for protection. WUSB200 also alerts you of possible wireless intruders and
vulnerabilities in the wireless network deployment when used when a
Linksys® WAP200 (sold separately).
